Petrophysics NMR Team Leader Schlumberger: Laboratory Downhole Wettability from NMR T1/T2 ratio

24 October 2017 – SPWLA Saudi Arabia Chapter held its monthly luncheon technical event on 24 Oct 2017 by Andrea Valori, Petrophysics NMR team Leader Schlumberger Dhahran Carbonate Research Center. The topic was on “Laboratory Downhole Wettability from NMR T1/T2 ratio’’ where the speaker in his study provided an experimental findings suggesting that NMR T1/T2 ratio of the oil phase in a mixed saturated rock strongly correlates with wettability and also discussed limitations and potential improvement of the workflow. There was a good attendance from Saudi Aramco petrophysicists and services companies.
